Mold Maker

Job Duties:

  • Studies specifications such as blueprints, sketches or tool descriptions and plans sequence of operations.
  • Measures, marks, and scribes metal stock to lay out work pieces for machining.
  • Sets up and operates machine tools such as lathe, milling machine, EDM and grinder, to machine parts to specifications, and verifies conformance of machined parts to specifications.
  • Positions and secures parts on surface plate or worktable using devices such as vises, V- blocks, and angle plates.
  • Fits and assembles parts into assemblies or mechanisms using hand tools.
  • Verifies dimensions and alignment, using measuring instruments such as micrometers, height gauges, and gauge blocks.
  • Assembles tool or mold using hand tools as required.

Education and/or experience:

  • Mold Maker: 5 years (Preferred)

Maintenance Mechanic

Job Duties:

  • Qualified candidate must be able to maintain, evaluate and repair equipment such as injection molding machines, dryers, granulators and automation cells.
  • Minimum 3 year of experience with preventive maintenance, and troubleshooting of Injection Molding machines is a requirement.
  • Additional responsibilities include general facility maintenance, and perform miscellaneous tasks as required.

Education and/or experience:

  • Maintenance: 5 years (Preferred)
  • High School or equivalent
  • Must be able to read electrical, mechanical, pneumatic and hydraulic blueprints
