QA Layout Technician

Job Duties:
1. Perform layout on new and revised products.
2. Perform statistical studies and prepare reports.
3. Assist and/or fill in for the shift inspector as needed.
4. Other duties as may be assigned by the Q.A. Manager.

1. Must be able to interact with all levels of employees internal to the company.

1. High School education or equivalent.
2. Minimum two (2) years experience in an injection molding environment.
3. Minimum two (2) years experience in Q.A. environment.
4. Minimum one (1) year experience performing layout inspections and working with the associated equipment. Specifically caliper, micrometer, vision machine and CMM.
5. Strong math background.
6. Be capable of setting up basic programs on the Vision Machine and/or CMM or able to understand the concept at a minimum to learn.
7. Be willing to continuously receive training and education and take on new responsibilities.

1. Perform layouts in an accurate and timely manner.
2. Perform the duties of the shift inspector when needed.

Job Specifications:
1. Must have an in-depth knowledge of various types of inspection equipment such as:
micrometers, calipers, indicators, height gages, comparators, gage pins, gage blocks.
2. Must have a general understanding of personal computers and calculators.
3. Must be able to read and interpret blueprints, including geometric tolerancing.
4. Must be able to read, speak, and write English.
5. Must possess a strong match background.
6. Must be able to judge colors.
7. Must have an understanding of S.P.C. and process capability studies

Production Coordinator

Job Duties:

  • Review and enter all new sales orders.
  • Verify the pricing and revision level on all new orders to ensure accuracy.
  • Utilize EDI, SupplyOn, Ivalua or other dedicated portals.
  • Use DTR to update orders and shipments as applicable.
  • Update pricing in DTR and add it to the price list when a new price is received.
  • Monitor the inventory for all assigned customer’s parts and investigate any discrepancies.
  • Confirm all parts are sorted on the dates they are needed.
  • Run a late report on a weekly or biweekly basis.
  • Respond to all customer requests in a timely manner.
  • Promptly communicate any customer issues to the appropriate manager.
  • Determine new packaging requirements and communicate box counts to the customer.
  • Collaborate with warehouse staff to efficiently pull, document, and ship orders on time.
  • Generate labels, job orders, and shift reports when needed.
  • Secure competitive shipping rates from carriers.
  • Schedule production freight by customers’ requests and optimal logistics.
  • Assist related departments in resolving problems as they arise.
  • Complete Nafta Requirements.
  • Take on additional duties as assigned


  • At least two years of experience in customer service, shipping, and expediting.
  • Experience with an MRP system and all Microsoft products.
  • Experience in customer management.
  • Must we be well-versed in shipping procedures and expediting of work orders.
  • Must be detail-oriented and well-organized.
  • Must have good communication skills.
