Jr Quality Engineer

Job Duties:
1. Perform layout on new and revised products.
2. Perform statistical studies and prepare reports.
3. Assist and/or fill in for the shift inspector as needed.
4. Other duties as may be assigned by the Q.A. Manager.

Interaction:
1. Must be able to interact with all levels of employees internal to the company.

Qualifications:
1. High School education or equivalent.
2. Minimum two (2) years experience in an injection molding environment.
3. Minimum two (2) years experience in Q.A. environment.
4. Minimum one (1) year experience performing layout inspections and working with the associated equipment. Specifically caliper, micrometer, vision machine and CMM.
5. Strong math background.
6. Be capable of setting up basic programs on the Vision Machine and/or CMM or able to understand the concept at a minimum to learn.
7. Be willing to continuously receive training and education and take on new responsibilities.

Accountabilities:
1. Perform layouts in an accurate and timely manner.
2. Perform the duties of the shift inspector when needed.

Job Specifications:
1. Must have an in-depth knowledge of various types of inspection equipment such as:
micrometers, calipers, indicators, height gages, comparators, gage pins, gage blocks.
2. Must have a general understanding of personal computers and calculators.
3. Must be able to read and interpret blueprints, including geometric tolerancing.
4. Must be able to read, speak, and write English.
5. Must possess a strong match background.
6. Must be able to judge colors.
7. Must have an understanding of S.P.C. and process capability studies

Assistant Production Engineer

Job Duties:

1. Assist all Project Engineers with new product launch activities. New product launches are completed via APQP, which is a comprehensive process to ensure customer and regulatory requirements are met.
2. Responsible for developing all manufacturing-related part graphic work instructions for operators.
3. Ability to present operator workflow in a simple and understandable manner through the use of pictures and illustrations.
4. Support Engineers in other activities including Quality initiatives as necessary.
5. Any other projects that might be determined to be necessary by the Director of Quality.

Interaction:

1. Must be able to interact and communicate effectively with all levels of office personnel as well as production level personnel.

Qualifications:

1. High School education or equivalent.
2. Minimum two (2) years experience in an injection molding environment.
3. Minimum of one (1) year of experience working within an ISO 9001 style Quality Management System type environment including IATF 16949, AS 9000, ISO 13485, etc.
4. Good organizational skills and ability to work independently.
5. Attention to detail.
6. Working knowledge of Microsoft office applications.
7. Bilingual preferred.
8. Must be able to manage different projects at the same time.

Accountabilities:

1. To ensure the performance of the tool room in a safe, profitable, and progressive manner.
2. Consult with manufacturing to maximize the performance of all molds in production.
3. Knowledge of procedures for accurate cost estimating of tool work.

Job Specifications:

1. Accomplishing all work in a timely manner.
2. Reviewing all customer drawings for special design, notations, or additional information that
may be needed.
3. Total customer satisfaction.

Staff Accountant

Job Duties:

1. Recording and maintaining financial transactions in accounting software.
2. Create invoices according to company practices; submits invoices to customers.
3. Apply payments received from customers and perform appropriate follow-up.
4. Maintain supporting schedules for all balance sheet related accounts.
5. Reconcile all cash accounts on a monthly basis.
6. Assist in the month-end closing process for financial statement reporting.
7. Perform analysis of financial information to assist management in decision making process.
8. Work with various operational teams to improve performance.
9. Provides outside auditors with assistance; gathers necessary account information and documents to perform annual audit.
10. Performs other related duties as assigned.

Required Skills/Abilities:

1. Excellent use of Excel, very good with spreadsheet preparation
2. Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
3. Excellent organizational skills and attention to detail.
4. Knowledge of general financial accounting and cost accounting.
5. Understanding of and the ability to adhere to generally accepted accounting principles.
6. Proficient with Microsoft Office Suite or similar software, and accounting software.
